For a true “Out of Africa” experience, head to Tsavo – LFT

We stayed in a farm in Africa, at the foot of the Ngong Hills.  But that is not seriously the get started of our journey.  It genuinely commenced in Mombasa and obtaining picked up by our guideline/driver Sammy.  He will be with us for the next 6 days from Mombasa to Tsavo to Amboseli Countrywide Park and then onto Nairobi.  Sammy is helpful, quick to converse to and professional about not just mammals but about all the birds that we are observing.  This was especially critical to Kati who loves to photograph all the birds in Africa.  It took us a pair of hours to get to our lodge in Tsavo East and the time went by immediately.

Why Tsavo?

This was the fourth time Kati and I have been to Kenya.  We have also explored Uganda and Egypt, and I have lived for more than 4 years in Zimbabwe and virtually a calendar year in South Africa.  We have also traveled to Cape Verde, Botswana, and Morocco, so we are not strangers to the African continent. But this time we needed one thing distinctive.  We wished an “Out of Africa” adventure loaded with animals, tented camps and good landscapes.  And we obtained just that.

With our tent, beautifully embellished with previous Africa furnishings and overlooking the water hole, we had been able to check out animals from a few of kilometers absent traveling through the dusty bush.  The noticeable pleasure that elephants knowledge when eventually viewing the drinking water hold was outstanding.  They would get started to trot, flapping their ears practically with smiles on their faces.  Large Tuskers, moms with their younger, and one bulls all arrived and went.
