American-born French Impressionistic painter Jill Steenhuis, our travel husband or wife, delivered us with an exceptional presentation that shares insights into the lifestyle of artist Vincent van Gogh – and how his existence and creative journey have formed her personal. An Atlanta indigenous, Jill has lived in Aix-en-Provence since 1980, painting in the landscapes of Provence. Right after graduating from Sweet Briar School with a BFA in studio art, she attended The Leo Marchutz School of Portray and Drawing in Aix. In the 1980s and 1990s, Jill was just one of the unusual artists to have a studio at the Château Noir, where by Cézanne experienced his studio in the late 19th century. Jill has exhibited in solo reveals in New York City, Greenwich, Atlanta, Chicago, Washington DC, Dallas, and San Francisco, amid other important American towns, as perfectly as in Aix-en-Provence and Paris.
