What’s Your Favorite U.S. National Park?

About the past two years, I have fallen in appreciate with them.

Now I have observed 15 out of 63. And sometime, I’d like to see them all.

To start with, there was Redwood National Park, with its towering trees and black-sand beaches…

Then Indiana Dunes, with its sprawling sights of nuclear reactors…

Then Utah, property to some of the very best national parks in the region: I visited Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion.

Following Utah, I visited Mammoth Cave (Kentucky) and Warm Springs (Arkansas), on the way to Austin, which is in which I reside now.

Then there was Massive Bend, Texas. The night time sky is remarkable there! You can see so quite a few stars.

Followed by Petrified Forest in New Mexico…

And most not long ago, Glacier (Montana) and Grand Teton (Wyoming). Glacier National Park reminded me of Switzerland with its alpine valleys, purple wildflowers, and jagged mountains. I even observed mountain goats.

I truly feel so lucky that I have gotten to see so significantly of our wonderful state in the earlier few yrs.

When I was young, I concentrated only on worldwide travel (this blog site is not termed Ashley Overseas for nothin’). But around the past two many years, I’m joyful to report that I’ve gained a newfound appreciation for my own yard.
